Crackania Assortment

Casanella Xocolaters - Chocolat Exclusive Quality

The assortment box is the first step in a major project to redesign the entire line of packaging used by the chocolate maker Casanella. The design seeks to communicate the brand message by focusing on its symbol. The aim is to underscore the value of the product and make it an attractive gift item. This is achieved by using a visual language more associated with jewellery than with food products. In addition to enhancing the value of the product and the brand, the design engages with potential buyers, evoking a sense of craftsmanship and avoiding the impression that the chocolates are an exclusive product. The balance between the kraft paper printed in two colours and the gold stamping with the flavours results in a piece that conveys both accessibility and value. Also, when the boxes are stacked, the Casanella symbol forms a continuous pattern. Finally, in terms of production, two-colour printing and the use of a special stamping process, without any additional techniques, mean the design is also optimal from an economic perspective.

Esencial Mediterraneo

Esencial Mediterráneo

Inspired by the glass displays used in bars in our country that serve tapas and paellas, which reflect a complex chromatic and formal code. Each line of products has a different patch of colour that supports the Esencial Mediterráneo logo, and each product family is associated with a particular colour. The aroma of each product is represented by an illustration and an associated colour. All the textual information is presented in ‘stickers’ that lend character to each label. Our aim was to make a clear break with all existing products in the cosmetics market.

Estrella Forum

Estrella Damm

When the 2004 Universal Forum of Cultures was held in Barcelona, Estrella Damm launched a restricted competition to design a special commemorative bottle. Our proposal was to create a set of three distinct designs, each related to one of the event’s core themes: sustainability, diversity and peace. Taking the basic form of the star (estrella) as a starting point, we came up with a specific design to represent each theme. The idea was to create a collectible item that would appeal to consumers of the beer brand. Our goal was also to come up with an atemporal design that was not shaped by passing trends. In the end, our submission did not win the competition.
